Supporting nafda Lebanon’s work on
social transformation through education
About Us
Following a successful trial and testing of the nafda model in Lebanon, nafda US has been registered as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in the United States. It works to expand the efforts of nafda Lebanon to raise awareness and resources that enable social change in Lebanon through education.
In a context that where the trend has been to disconnect communities, nafda revolves around connectivity:
nafda seeks to bring together leaders of education institutions across the country to work together, create partnerships with existing organizations that can support the materialization of their desired transformation, and foster linkages to engage the communities around them in setting priorities and ensuring that impact reaches beyond school walls.
We believe that leadership is at the core of the solution and we endeavor to create a nationwide movement of leaders who will promulgate the values of engaged citizenship, social justice and good governance in schools and communities.

Testimonials
Chahed
“My favorite experience was when I started teaching other students the knowledge I had acquired about Arduino and printing. I felt a sense of confidence and responsibility because it was up to me to teach them, provide essential information, and show them how beneficial it would be for their future.”

"This initiative captured our social entrepreneurship spirit, where we initiated a Christmas market project, to sell honey from the garden we grew. It contributed to our understanding of managing finances, also teaching us how to create and innovate throughout our lives. By working with our community, we learned more about sustainability and social justice, gaining insights into the effect our projects have on the world around us."
